Pete, Steven and Dave are good friends that have fallen on hard times; They are unemployed and hardly get by on benefits. Coincidentally, they are approached by a low-key gangster who offers them what seems like quick cash-in-hand work. One drop-off. Six bags of cocaine. Both estranged and tempted by the situation, they accept, only things don't go to plan.

The crew consists of three sailors and three mountaineers, whose skills complement each other perfectly. Ice, wind, and fog are just some of the obstacles that make both sea and land routes difficult, making access to the continent complex and unpredictable. The ascents are technical and require meticulous planning. Their only regret will be not being able to climb Pierre Premier, as the risks involved are simply too great.

Seems to cover people and families living in middle of inhospitable places in america, kinda like 20 other shows, but seems to have decent participants, and covers deserts instead of mountains or Alaska, so its a nice change.
